Paul Miller is a consultant to private schools on global education, focusing on recruiting and retaining international students. Prior to his consulting work, Paul was Senior Director of Global Initiatives at the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) where he helped NAIS member schools become more global in mission, enrolment, curriculum, and overseas learning.
A graduate of Williams College, Paul received a Master’s Degree from the Boston University School of Public Communication in Radio and Television.
From 1973 to 2006, he was an award-winning broadcast journalist and foreign correspondent for a number of news organizations, including NBC News, NPR, Public Television , and The Christian Science Monitor. His exposure to and appreciation of multiple cultures and countries over the years convinced him that Americans needed to be more global in outlook, and in 2006 he enthusiastically joined Pat Bassett’s team at NAIS to work on global education
Paul is a board member of the Global Youth Leadership Institute (GYLI)
